Description
What is POE pillow?
POE pillow is our proprietary technology and material that makes up the core of our pillows. The raw material is graded pure imported medical grade, which can directly contact with food(Passed SGS food grade inspection). This is an environmentally friendly and hygienic polymer material. It has the property of water permeability, adhesion, high elasticity, antibacterial, environmental protection, adhesion, durability, which other materials do not possess.
How do you sleep?
To understand how to sleep better, let’s start with analyzing how you sleep. If you know your sleep type, it’s easy to find the perfect match of mattress and pillow for you.
What sleep style are you?
. Stomach- If you prefer sleeping on your stomach.
If you prefer sleeping on your stomach, the pillow should be low and soft to ensure that there is no strain on the neck and back.
For stomach sleepers, we recommend a mattress that is not too soft and provides good support for the neck and lower back so that the spine can take on its natural shape.
. Side- If you prefer sleeping on your side.
When sleeping on the side, the pillow should be higher to lift your head up and enable your spine to follow a straight line.
A softer mattress is more suitable for side sleepers because it conforms to the shoulders and hips while supporting the rest of the body.
. Back- If you prefer sleeping on your back.
If you prefer sleeping on your back, the pillow will support your neck while not being to high as to not overstretch your neck muscles.
Care and Use
Washing the Cover:
1. Washing the outer cover before first use is optional.
2. Cover zips off and goes right in the washing machine.
3. Be sure to leave the cover zipped for best results.
4. Wash alone, or with the encasement only to avoid damage to the fabric.
5. Wash on cold with a mild detergent.
6. Tumble dry on low heat. Dry thoroughly. DO NOT hang dry.
7.Wash the outer cover as often as you like.
Washing the encasement:
1. Clean encasement only if soiled.
2. Unzip and remove from core.
3. Zip fully closed prior to wash + dry.
4. Machine wash in cold water with detergent.
5. Wash together with outer cover for a balanced load. Wash without any other laundry.
6. Dry immediately in dryer on tumble dry low heat setting, allowing to dry thoroughly. DO NOT leave damp from wash; DO NOT hang dry.
TIP: The encasement is made with natural Viscose material which may develop an odor if allowed to remain damp (like a wool sweater). To refresh, add 1/2 cup baking soda to the wash.
Washing the core:
1. For the really big mess or just for seasonal cleaning, the core can be washed whenever needed.
2. Wash in the shower with soap & cool water or rinse outside with a hose.
3. Shake excess water out of core and stand-up to dry.
4. Place in well ventilated area for faster drying.
5. Avoid drying in direct sunlight and do not use heating elements to speed the drying process.
