U-micco fiber is friendly to the environment, as only a small amount of toxic gases are released when U-micco fiber is burned. U-micco fiber can also be recycled.
Description
Strong Support + Firm Edges:
U-micco crib mattresses are designed to provide optimal support for your baby. Our patented design adheres to the firmness recommendations set by the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and pediatricians, ensuring that your baby has a firm and flat surface for safer sleep. With the Breeze Air model, you have the option for a dual firmness mattress, with a firmer side for infants and a softer side for toddlers.
Environmentally Friendly Materials:
U-micco mattresses feature patented food-grade POE waterproofing and recycled polyester fiber fill, making them environmentally friendly. These materials are commonly recycled and we believe in doing our part to preserve the environment for future generations.
Practical Design:
Our mattresses come with a washable cover that completely covers the mattress, providing breathability and protection. This removable layer has a waterproof backing that keeps the mattress clean and protected from urine, spit-up, and other messes. In case of an accident, simply replace the cover with a spare or use the fully functional underlying mattress. The cover is easy to launder (machine wash and dry) at your convenience.
Washing the encasement:
1. Clean encasement only if soiled.
2. Unzip and remove from core.
3. Zip fully closed prior to wash + dry.
4. Machine wash in cold water with detergent.
5. Wash together with outer cover for a balanced load. Wash without any other laundry.
6. Dry immediately in dryer on tumble dry low heat setting, allowing to dry thoroughly. DO NOT leave damp from wash; DO NOT hang dry.
TIP: The encasement is made with natural Viscose material which may develop an odor if allowed to remain damp (like a wool sweater). To refresh, add 1/2 cup baking soda to the wash.
Washing the core:
1. For the really big mess or just for seasonal cleaning, the core can be washed whenever needed.
2. Wash in the shower with soap & cool water or rinse outside with a hose.
3. Shake excess water out of core and stand-up to dry.
4. Place in well ventilated area for faster drying.
5. Avoid drying in direct sunlight and do not use heating elements to speed the drying process.
